The absence of a lift means a trek up 25 steps with luggage, which can be cumbersome. Noise from the room above disrupts peace at night, with creaking floorboards echoing throughout. The showerhead in the bathroom showed clear signs of mold, leading to concerns about cleanliness.

Staying at Ca' Doge was a culinary delight! Just a stroll away, we devoured delicious pizza at Pizzeria Coccinelle and indulged in local delicacies at Trattoria Alle Burchielle. Plus, our spacious room easily fit our group of four! The helpful front desk staff made navigating Venice a breeze.
However, the absence of a lift meant our luggage schlep was real! And with no breakfast, we had to hunt for local eats, but with gems around Piazzale Roma, we made it work.

My solo stay was amazing! The room was spacious with great vaulted ceilings and ample windows, allowing plenty of natural light. I loved how clean and quiet the hotel was, even with a busy parking lot outside. Plus, the private parking made it super convenient for my arrival!

The only downside was that the hot water wasn't hot enough for a proper shower, which was a bit disappointing after a long day of exploring.
